The St Julien Hotel recently achieved Gold level certification from the Colorado Green Business Network (CGBN), making it the only luxury hotel in Colorado to earn such a distinction. This certification highlights extensive efforts to promote sustainable operations. These include waste diversion measures, employee education initiatives, and hosting green events, all aiming to minimize waste and reduce energy consumption.
Cicora's Journey: From Front Desk to Eco-Leader
Cicora began her career in hospitality at the front desk of a Colorado hotel, driven by her passion for sustainability. With a degree in environmental sustainability from the University of Tennessee, she has adeptly transitioned into sustainability leadership, overseeing critical eco-friendly programs at St Julien. Her focus on waste management and employee engagement ensures that all team members contribute to the hotel's green initiatives.
